Taking Charge of Your Health

5 Home Remedies For Natural Colon Cleansing The human colon is an important part of the
body. An article on PUBMED explains that the function
of the colon includes the conservation of water and electrolytes as well as the controlled
evacuation of feces. Extensive research has shown that the health
of your colon can have a direct impact on your body’s overall metabolism. With that said, an unhealthy colon can lead
to serious conditions such as colon cancer. According to the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY,
colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosis. They estimate that for 2018, there will be
97,220 new cases of colon cancer. So, cleaning out your colon or finding a good
way to cleanse is integral, however finding the healthiest solutions to clean out your
colon can be tough, but there is one home remedy that may be able to help. But first, before we begin this video, don’t

so you never miss our new videos! Alright, so let’s talk about cleaning out
that colon! Before we get into the remedy, we wanted to
add that unhealthy diets and lifestyle choices can contribute to unhealthy colons and colon
cancer. An online Cleveland Clinic cancer risk assessment
was conducted which included over 27,000 responses, MEDICAL DAILY reported. The results were that less than 10% of the
participants reported eating the daily recommended amount of fruit, vegetables, and grains, which
are all essential to help clean out your colon. The remedy that can help clean out your colon
consists of four ingredients: one lemon, two tablespoons of Aloe Gel, one liter of water,
and honey. An expert by the name of DR. EDWARD GROUP III, who is the founder of the
Global Healing Center, explains that lemons are a great choice for helping with digestion. He explains that the colon is the final part
of the digestion process, and because lemons contain pectin, which is a type of fiber that
makes up the cell wall of many types of fruits, they are very beneficial to a proper digestion
and healthy, clean colon. The pectin slows down the speed of food that
leaves the stomach and improves how it’s broken down, Dr. Group added. So even if you’re not trying to achieve the
peak of colon cleaning, you can still improve your digestion with this miracle citrus fruit. The second ingredient to this home remedy
is Aloe Gel. This gel contains barbaloin, which is a C-glucoside
of aloe-emodin anthrone and is found in the plant Aloe Vera. THE UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER MEDICAL CENTER
explains that Aloe Vera has been used for many years in medicine. It is mostly known for its healing abilities
on cuts and burns, but they also mention that it can also be used as a laxative. A healthy colon means that you have regular
bowel movements, and because Aloe Vera contains barbaloin, the anthraquinones (organic compounds)
can help stimulate your bowel movements and increase its tone. So, if you’re looking to clean your colon,
do something about colon cleaning or maybe just have a general cleanse, don’t forget
the Aloe Gel. The next and final ingredient besides water
(which we know is good in general) is Honey. Honey is considered one of the best sources
for weight loss; and according to LIVESTRONG, many people who do a colon cleanse often lose
weight as well because they are able to clear out the waste from their intestines. A study from a 2011 issue of NUTRITION RESEARCH
touched bases on the effects of honey and sugar on obesity in rats and they found that
the rats who were fed honey ate less and gained less weight. In addition, according to a 2010 study published
in the JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF NUTRITION, researchers compared the effects
of honey and sugar in women. They found that honey had less of an effect
on the blood sugar levels. If your blood glucose levels are high, the
body is unable to convert the food you eat into energy, which can cause overeating and
excess amounts of toxins which, in turn, can cause constipation and an unhealthy colon. Hmmm… Honey for losing weight and lemons to help
digestion… are doctors and experts trying to get us to drink more tea? We could be down for that. According to LONNY HOROWITZ, a board-certified
bariatrician practicing in the Atlanta area, it’s like cleaning up a construction site. “The toxins are the unused junk that’s
leftover, and our bodies remove this waste through sweat, urine, and stool,” reported
USA NEWS. Horowitz adds that if your body does not have
enough fluids, the kidneys will not work efficiently, and all the toxins become more concentrated
and difficult to force out. Research done by some of the leading colon
experts finds that this can have a negative effect on the body’s bowel functions. A healthy colon needs regular bowel movements
so it can remove waste and not leave any excess toxins, HOROWITZ says. Alright, so now that we’ve examined every
ingredient individually, here’s finally how to prepare it. You’ve been very patient, and now we’re
going to tell you how to make this remedy. First, you’ll want to squeeze the lemon
in a bowl, then add the two tablespoons of fresh Aloe Vera and mix it well. Once you’ve thoroughly mixed the two together,
add the one liter of water and mix everything in a blender. After you’ve blended everything together,
add a bit of honey to sweeten the mix. To help clean out your colon, take a glass
of this first thing in the morning, and if you want to speed up the process, 30 minutes
before each main meal. And there you have it! But that cannot possibly be the be all and
REAR END all of colon care, right? Well no, so today we’re going to go through
a couple more things you can do to take good care of your derriere. 1) Eat More Fiber. We’ve all heard before that fiber makes you
poop and if you haven’t, well, you just heard it here. It’s true, fiber helps move waste along your
digestive tract, which is great for keeping you regular and keeping your colon healthy. So the question on everyone’s mind is– how
much of it should I eat if I wanna keep my colon cleansed? How much should I consume to make my digestion
go smoother? Well, GAIAM.COM has the answer: 25-35 grams
daily. And don’t worry, your diet won’t be restricted,
because there are a lot of foods that are really high in fiber, such as raspberries,
bananas, prunes, peas, broccoli, beans, celery, and whole-wheat pasta. So get out there and start pooping people! Or at least start eating more fiber. 2) Vitamin D. Apparently, there’s nothing
better than getting some sunshine for the place where the sun don’t shine (kind of an
odd idiom if that’s the case, but what the heck). Especially when you’re trying to prevent colon
cancer and attempting to keep up your colon’s health, sunshine can be very advantageous. If you don’t believe us, believe THE AMERICAN
JOURNAL OF CLINICAL NUTRITION says that “a steady intake of Vitamin D is advantageous
when trying to prevent colon cancer and maintain a healthy colon”. They also say that 15 minutes in the sun is
sufficient, but if you’re having trouble getting that then foods like bread, fatty fish, milk,
and cereal are chalked full of Vitamin D. If that doesn’t work, consider taking a supplement. We wonder if they still make those in Flintstones
shapes… 3) Don’t Hold It In. We want to go on record saying: if you have
to go poop, go poop. We know there are some instances where this
is impossible (while driving, while playing sports, working landscaping, at a new boyfriend’s
parent’s house) but we cannot stress the importance of going when you need to go. Held in fecal matter can cause all sorts of
issues for your body, like IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) or diverticulosis. This is because poop left in your colon releases
toxins into your body, which are, as the name implies, pretty toxic. Don’t worry, we have a tip for hiding poop
smell– put a bunch of soap in the sink and run some water over it. Hopefully, the smell of soap will cover the
smell of… well, waste. 4) Colonoscopies. Alright, we know there’s nothing cool about
getting a colonoscopy. However, if you’re looking for early detection
of colon cancer, then a colonoscopy is probably your best bet. Especially if you’re over 50, then the procedure
is essential to keeping your colon healthy. Not only if you’re over 50, but if you experience
constant diarrhea or constipation, you should definitely try to get some help from your
doctor. Those two afflictions can be signs of colon
and intestinal problems. So even though it sucks, just get it. If you do this and the other things on this
list, then your colon will thank you. During the colonoscopy it probably won’t be
too pleased but when you’re given that clean bill of health you and your colon can rest
easy. And that’s all for our list of colon care
tips. What about you? How do you care for you colon? Maybe you, like a lot of people, have a funny

  2. I took your advice on if I had to poop, go poop!
I was out horseback riding the other day when the urge came on, so right before the horse jumped over that last fallen tree, I decided hey, what the hell, I gotta go and he said to go and not hold it! So I blew out my ass mid-air and when the horse landed, you shoulda seen them turds shoot out the bottoms of my Wranglers when my ass hit the saddle?!! Then, when the horses hoof hit it, its leg went out from under him and he broke his leg!
Now, I had to shoot my horse?!
Not thinkin before I pulled the trigger, I forgot I was 8 miles from home. Now I had to walk home with my drawers full of shit down to my ankles and the thoughts of my dead horse on my mind?!
Moral of this story is I guess sometimes its ok to hold it!?

  3. bait and switch from the facebook pic? what is this bullshit? i wanted to see a hot female nurse stick that thing up a hot female patient's ass! i feel like i've been robbed.

  4. I quote George Carlin, Dog shit is completely natural, you just don't want to use it for anything else but fertilizer."

  5. Don't recommend drinking milk for vitamin D because it has no fiber and clogs the colon. I think the title is a bit misleading. Five tips for your colon, there wasn't five natural remedies. A colonoscopy is not something you want to do at home.

  6. Ew I had straight up milk. So I have yogurt drinks that have fiber in them and no added sugars and no artificial anything.

  7. Fasting at least 12 hours between the last meal of the day and the first meal of the next day gives your body a chance to digest so you don't get all stopped up.?
