6 Best Home Remedies for Tonsillitis When the tonsils at the back of one’s throat
become swollen, it’s known as tonsillitis. Because tonsils catch bacteria, they sometimes
become infected. The most common type of tonsillitis is what
we call strep throat. To cure strep, there are some medicines that
can be taken. But here we have some simple ways to help
soothe the pain in the throat. Signs of Tonsillitis or Strep Throat
Sore throat Red tonsils with white or yellow spots
Difficult or painful swallowing Raspy voice
Bad breath Fever
Chills Headache
Neck and jaw tenderness If you have one or more of these signs, it
could mean your tonsils are infected. Make sure to take care of it right away, because
tonsillitis is very painful. Ways to Cure Tonsillitis at Home
Cumin Seed Cure Ingredients:
80 gram of black or cumin seeds 250 ml of filtered water
1 tablespoon cognac or whiskey Directions:
Boil 200 ml of the water with the seeds for fifteen minutes. The mixture should be black and thick, and
feel like wet coffee grounds. Drain the mixture and add the other 50 ml
of water. Bring it back to a boil. Add the one tablespoon of cognac or whiskey. Drink one tablespoon every thirty minutes. You should start feeling better within two
hours, and all signs should go away in four hours. Lemon Juice
Drinking lemon juice can help the body fight infection, and can also ease the pain that
come with strep throat. Drink as much fresh lemon juice as you need
to feel better. Honey
Honey is great for killing bacteria, which helps cure sore throats. Mix four tablespoons of honey in a glass of
water, and drink the whole cup. Do two to three times a day to feel better. Turmeric
Turmeric helps keep the swelling down, and also kills the harmful bacteria. To use, put a pinch of turmeric in a cup of
almond or coconut milk, and drink it. Ginger Tea
Ginger tea is another thing that can bring down swelling, and help soothe pain. Crush a small cube of ginger into a cup of
boiling water, and then let it cool off. Then dink the tea. Onion Juice
For onion juice to kill bacteria, you don’t need to drink it. If you gargle onion juice, it is enough to
ease pain in the throat. If these cures don’t help, and the pain
continues for a few days, make sure to see a doctor. Tonsillitis can be spread from person to person,
so take care of it before that happens. If you like the video, give it a thumbs†up

  10. Yo I fucking figured it out. I think I know how to get rid of swollen tonsils. So a couple days ago, I was getting intimate with my girlfriend, I went down on her and I'm a little ashamed to say but she wasn't the cleanest at the time. Its a long narrative please read all

The reason being is that the next day my tonsils were red, painful, and a little swollen. Even my uvula was elongated. It was super painful to swallow.

A little background about my self. I usually suffer from tonsillitis (aka tonsils infection) about 2-3 times a year. Sometime its due mono/streptococcus infection. Sometime is go to the doctor and after doing a agar test (test for pathogens) they would tell me that I'm not infected with anything serious and prescribe me antibiotics.

Now the purpose for is to kill harmful pathogens from the inside (thru your blood). However recently I didn't have the money to go to the doctor and buy any of the ingredients for a home remedy that I searched on the internet.

So I dug deeper and thought to myself why the fuck is this happening. I started thing if I was I were in some 3rd world country or very poor how would I cure something like this.

Things to know about your tonsils is that they are made of a sqaumos epithal tissue which is semi permiable to saliva and fluids to keep your mouth moist ( I am bio major at UNM) so the reason infection is probably not from what I ingested (eat) but that a pathogen came in contact with the membrane.

With that thought I consider this.

    Cure:
Brush your teeth with your current toothbrush.
    Rinse with salt water.

Throw away your toothbrush and clean your mouth again with a new one.

The reason for this process is to keep as much bacteria of your new toothbrush

(Note: From now on I suggest leaving your tb in salt water )

Then this part I think is the kicker. Get a cotton swab or any applicator and place a comfortable amount of toothpaste on to your infected tonsil.

What I believe help me is that anti bacterial agents in the toothpaste helped fight the bacteria that is causing the inflammation.

Bad breath is cause by bacteria on the tongue so if your toothpaste claims to freshen breath. It most likely has antibacterial ingredients.
