Taking Charge of Your Health

This was such an inspiration to put together
a dissertation. Wow, what fun that is. I was combining the first 20 years of my life
when I was in the army. A big issue right now that’s been in the
news is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. So, I decided to fuse together my 20 year
military career. I joined the army to fly helicopters in an
air ambulance company. Then I was stationed over here at Tripler
Army Hospital and worked in the ER there and then with an infantry unit. I was the only female in the Army Unit and
just had a really good time with the guys being a soldier and really got to find out
a lot about the whole PTSD issue. So I decided to write a book on it. I turned my dissertation into a book. I also have a DVD that goes along with the
book of the 100% PTSD rated soldier that was receiving a lot of the different modalities
of our alternative healing. Also, I included this year as I did an addition
to it with Dr. Paul pushing me to excellence, I added a CD on a daily mental rehearsal or
daily meditation. I learned this from working with my new career
that I’m going towards now with Dr. Joe Despenza, who will be speaking with us next
year. He absolutely feel that daily meditation is
the way to go as far as changing your life. So this is based on his book of change and
how to really change, and that’s what we’re trying to do with the PTSD. So, thank you very much. I appreciate all your help.
