Many of them even say Vodka was the answer lol. My grandfather and his mother both lived past 105 and i never saw either of them even eat a vegetable in their life, and nothing i would consider a healthy diet as i have a healthy diet now at 34 but not vegan only more of a well rounded diet with nno processed crap and no sugar.   25. I congratulate people who have lived for 80 years and above, but I am convinced that how long you live has nothing to do with what you eat, but mere luck. If you're lucky to have a good family member who're very sympathetic about your situations and are prepared to give you all your desires without scolding or shouting on you uncontrollably, and if you have children that really adored you, you'll live for a very long time no matter what you eat. What you eat, no doubt play a vital role in your life, but not necessarily responsible for longevity. Without food at all, death is imminent, therefore food is very important, but doesn't alone make you live longer if your life is full of tragedy and family problems.

I am 30 now. 2 months started quiting sugar and processed food.. and try as hard to only eat organic chicken meat and egg.. with lots of vegetables and fruits… but I have a very mild heart vsd… hole in heart.. it never affected me for 30 years of my life… I am a marathoner and gym addict.. but will this effect my longevity? even I have a healthy lifestyle.   34. My great grandfather lived to 101. His hobby was putting together jigsaw puzzles, which he liked to do while drinking iron city beer and smoking unfiltered Pall Malls. When I was around 16, he suggested that I start drinking beer. He liked cigars too. He quit smoking at 95. Said it was bad for his health. He ate mostly meat, and cheese, milk, eggs. He did like vegetables from the garden that he grew. He wasnt overweight, and I can still recall seeing him out cutting the grass up until he was about 95-98. He was a postman, and in the earlier years of working, I suspect he got in a lot of walking from delivering the mail. They actually used to walk to deliver the mail, unlike today when they drive up to each box to put the mail in.

  35. I don't believe in vegan only diest. What's for sure, I have reduced my red meat intake by 80%. Eat a lots of fish, certain fruits and loads of vegetables. Drink lots of water and exercise daily about 50 minutes. Having said that, it depends on your genes to a large extent. Basically, we have to use our own intelligence; if we reduce or give up on a few things, our life becomes a lot healthier and we feel much better plus, we push doctors and stress, depression and old age away. The ingredients to be reduced dramatically are: sugar, flour, oil & fats, alcohol and carbs. The fantastic result of this as well as better health will be a huge amount of fat loss (derived from cutting out those things).

My mother was a vegetarian/vegan for 44+ years she is now totally bedridden with brittle bones and advance stage breast cancer from consuming soy products for 44+ years. Soy has a substance that acts like estrogen in the body. Men should never consume soy cause it causes their estrogen to go up and their male hormones to drop. In women it causes high estrogen levels .High estrogen levels cause breast cancer in both men and women and ovarian cancer in women.
