Hi, I am doctor Shikha Sharma and today we
are going to be talking about that is it possible to lose belly fat without exercises? So yes
definitely it is possible to lose belly fat without exercises. Though it comes with a
little bit of rider. That is you can lose belly fat but toning and tightening of muscle
will not happen without exercises. Never the less lets us talk about how you can lose belly
fat without exercises. So belly fat, that area, normally the fat accumulation happens
due to excess of insulin in the system which can happen due to lot of stress which can
happen due to sedentary lifestyle which can happen due to family genetic structure when
it is more insulin, tendency to have more insulin in the body or it could happen also
sometimes because after say pregnancy or during the middle ages the belly fat accumulates.
So how do you lose fat around the belly area? So first I will talk about some Ayurvedic
techniques then I will tell you about the diets. So first Ayurvedic technique is do
a lot of Panchkarma. In Panchkarma Urvartana, specifically for fat loss around different
different areas whether it is thighs or belly. In Urvartana specialized herbal powder is
used which is massaged rigorously on the body to make the body more supple and to aid fat
elimination from the body. Along with this you must follow a diet which is very low in
fat that is there is no oil in the diet and for example for breakfast you could have vegetable
juice which could have say tomato, ginger, bottle gourd, beetroot, littel bit of say
spinach. For lunch you could have say boiled “Lobhia Chaat” or boiled “Chana Chaat” which
is black gram. You mix together boild black gram and you could put tomato, onions and
have that. And for dinner you could have say a soup along with some grilled fish or maybe
with a boiled egg. And if you are a vegetarian you could have little bit of grilled paneer.
So this kind of diet along with Urvartana which is the treatment for different fat accumulated
around the body. Another thing which you must do is you could take Meduhar Guggul. Now Guggul
is typically a essence or you can say in Ayurvedic terms it is a medicine, which when taken removes
fat from the areas where it is deposited. So it is used in arthritis, it is used in
obesity, it is alos used in high cholesterol. So you can take Meduhar Guggul two tablets
in the morning and two tablets in the evening with lukewarm water. Along with that I will
suggest take steam. Take steam bath for ten to fifteen minutes every day. Because steam
also opens the pores gets the circulation on and also and also starts moving the fat
away from deposited areas. So body massages, steam, Meduhar Guggul, and of course having
a proper diet which is very low in fat will help you to lose your belly fat and once you
